A 'wonderful' nurse and mother: tributes to 28 year old who died after testing positive for Covid-19
Tributes have been paid to a 'wonderful' nurse and mother from Greater Manchester who has died after testing positive for Covid-19.
Vivian Chikwan Ng, of Middleton, started displaying symptoms of coronavirus on Thursday, May 21.
The 28-year-old died at home less than a week after the diagnosis onWednesday, May 27.
Vivian was a hardworking Phlebotomist, taking blood samples, at NorthManchester General Hospital.
She was on kidney dialysis and her partner Tony Sheridan recentlydiscovered he matched as a kidney donor. The kidney transplant was inthe process of being arranged.
The couple have a four-year-old daughter, named Skye, and were alsoplanning a wedding.
Last night, colleagues released balloons in tribute to Vivian duringthe NHS Clap for Our Carers.
Reverend Jackie Calow, speaking on behalf of the family, describedVivian as "loving, gentle and wonderful"
Vivian's colleagues have launched a fundraising appeal to donate moneyin her memory to her family.
