PPE shortage is preventing dentists from opening
There are delays in getting dental services up and running because of a lack of access to PPE.
A dentist in Greater Manchester, was supposed to be setting up one of the new emergency hubs but has had to wait eight weeks to be fitted for protective equipment that might only allow him to open for a week.
There are fears that the lack of check ups could lead to more complex health concerns. Ashley Derricott reports:
