Inside one Merseyside school operating as a hub for the children of key workers
Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced earlier this week that schools may be able to reopen "at the earliest," by June 1 in stages, beginning with reception, Year 1 and Year 6.
But the Mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson said on social media this week, that he would "resist" allowing schools to reopen in June, if it were to put the safety of children and staff at risk.
The government says school plans ‘are based on the best scientific and medical advice’ and they’ll ‘continue to develop further guidance.'
One Headteacher at a Merseyside school, currently operating as a hub for the children of key workers, has concerns.
