Man arrested after body found at Ellesmere Port home
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder afterpolice discovered the body of a man inside a house in Ellesmere Port.
At around 3.15am today officers attended an address at Blakemere Court in the town, following a concern for the welfare of a man.
They discovered the body of a man inside the property.
Formal identification has not yet taken place but the death is beingtreated as suspicious and a 22-year-old man from Ellesmere Port hasbeen arrested on suspicion of murder.
He is currently in custody being questioned by officers.
Detective Inspector Nigel Reid, of Cheshire Constabulary’s Major Investigation Team, said: “I would like to reassure members of thecommunity that this appears to be an isolated incident and we aredoing everything we can to establish exactly what has taken place.
