The football club turned food hub in need of donations to help the vulnerable during the coronavirus lockdown
Football clubs across the North West are continuing to help their communities during the coronavirus lockdown, with one turning its stadium into an emergency food hub.
FC United of Manchester's ground is now being used to prepare and deliver vital supplies to the most vulnerable in their community twice a week.
The Northern Premier League club has teamed up with Manchester City Council and the North Manchester Business Network to run the operation with the help of a group of volunteers.
Since starting at the beginning of April they've seen demand for parcels more than double and are now asking for more donations.
