Warning over missing cancer appointments due to coronavirus fears

The NHS has issued a warning that people who may have cancer and other serious illnesses are missing medical appointments because they're scared of catching the coronavirus.

Several GPs in our region say there's been a massive fall in people attending vital meetings with their doctor. Some of our region's hospitals tell us patients are also not turning up to meet with specialists.

They're being warned those appointments could save their lives - as our correspondent Mel Barham reports.
