IOM Chief Minister Howard Quayle self isolating after experiencing mild symptoms of coronavirus

It has emerged the Chief Minister of the Isle of Man has experienced 'mild' symptoms of Coronavirus and is self isolating at home.

Howard Quayle MHK is described as working from home and awaiting Covid 19 test results.

Since 10am on Tuesday 07 April there have been no further confirmed positive tests for coronavirus on the island.

The total number of confirmed cases remains at 150.

In total 143 patients have been instructed to self-isolate and six are being treated at the hospital.

A contact tracing process is already underway led by Public Health.

There have been 1,525 concluded tests, 205 people are awaiting results and 57 people are awaiting tests.

In total 73 individuals are presumed to have recovered from the virus.

There has been one death caused by the coronavirus in the Isle of Man.
