Zoo in south Cumbria appeals for fundraising help while its doors are closed
A zoo in South Cumbria says it is 'struggling to survive' during the coronavirus outbreak.
Lakeland Wildlife Oasis, near Milnthorpe, is home to more than 100 species, some of which are critically endangered.
It needs to find food for nearly 2,000 animals, as well as paying for heating for exotic animals and veterinary care, with no money from ticket sales coming in.
The charity has now set up a fundraising page to make sure they can continue to care for their stock.
