Life-saving centre in Wirral keeping people safe from suicide

A project in Wirral to prevent suicide has kept alive every person they have seen since it was set up last year.

The Martin Gallier project aims to provide the families of people who feel suicidal with a much needed skill set that will save lives.

38% of individuals who lost their life to Suicide in Merseyside and Cheshire had previously attempted to take their own life.

The project has trained more than 60 people trained in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training.
