Families still seeking justice for two boys murdered nearly 40-years-ago
The killings of 11-year-olds John Greenwood and Gary Miller shocked the nation in August, 1980, after they were found beaten and dumped on a rubbish tip.
No one has been convicted of the murders of the best friends nearly 40 years ago.
Police have admitted that their initial inquiry was 'not as thorough as it could have been.'
A recent attempt to re-investigate stalled because of so-called "Double Jeopardy" laws.
And there are calls tonight, including from the police, for changes to that legislation.
