Cheshire currently has 7 warnings in place (meaning flooding is expected and immediate action is required) and 11 flood alerts (meaning flooding is possible).
Lancashire currently has 0 flood warnings in place and 12 flood alerts.
Merseyside currently has 0 flood warnings in place and 4 flood alerts.
Greater Manchester has 1 flood warning in place and 8 flood alerts.

Elsewhere, some residents across the North West say they're relieved to find their flood defences held out against Storm Dennis overnight.
