Crews tackle 'very challenging' fire at pub near Lancaster

Ten fire engines are at the scene of a blaze at a pub near Lancaster.

Crews have described the incident at Corricks Lane at Conder Green this morning as 'very challenging' and are warning of thick smoke in the area.

The fire engulfed the roof at the 17th Century Stork Inn early this morning.

Nearby residents are advised to keep their doors and windows closed.

Anyone travelling towards Lancaster is advised to avoid the A588 Lancaster Road,
