Tranmere Rovers pull off FA Cup shock to set up tie with Manchester United
Tranmere Rovers have secured a fourth round tie with Manchester United after beating Watford in an FA Cup replay.
Substitute Paul Mullin scored in extra time to complete the win against the Premier League side.
The replay was rearranged after the first game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Prenton Park.
Emmanuel Monthe gave the home side the lead at half-time but Kaylen Hinds levelled for Watford after the break.
The game was forced into extra time and Mullin flicked on a cross from Liam Ridehalgh to set up a mouth-watering tie with the 12-time winners Manchester United at Prenton Park.
Tranmere host United at a time when their opponents have won only two games in seven. The game will kick off on Sunday at 3pm at Prenton Park.
