Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service get dog-friendly oxygen masks

Emergency vehicles in Cumbria are now being equipped with pet-friendly oxygen masks.

Fifty of the special masks have been given to Cumbrian Fire and Rescue Service by animal lovers across the county who raised over £4,000 to buy the equipment.

Dog's will often hide when there is a fire, rather than run away, which leads to them suffering from smoke inhalation.

The special masks come in three different sizes so that they can be used on different breeds of dogs.
