Granada Introducing.... The Ruby Tuesdays

In the latest in our Granada Introducing Series showcasing the region's best new music meet The Ruby Tuesdays from Blackburn.

The four piece are about to release their latest track 'Rivers of Gold' as a vinyl exclusive, for their loyal fans.

Staying true to vinyl like Tucker, the frontman's heroes The Rolling Stones, nicking their name from one of their tracks.

The singer was inspired after listening to 'Satisfaction' at the Stones show, Exhibitionism at the Saatchi Gallery in London.

Tucker usually comes up with the lyrics and James Baird on drums, Matt Hall and George Barnes both on guitar work on the music.

Barnes comes from a musical family, his dad Ian 'Strang' Barnes is in the Lancashire band, The Stiffs, one of the late John Peel's favourite bands.

They have a growing fanbase and are supporting the Sherlocks at their hometown gig in Sheffield.

The Ruby Tuesdays record at the Electric Church in Blackburn where they performed this version of 'Who you running from' for Granada Introducing.
