Urgent warning by Coastguard after Hilbre Island rescues

An urgent warning has been issued by the Coastguard after three people had to rescued at Hilbre island on the Wirral.

Its the fourth incident in 4 days involving people getting cut off by the incoming tide.

The coastguard are urging the public to check tide times before setting off for coastal walks.

Wirral Coastguard Rescue Team along with West Kirby Lifeboat rescued 3 people cut off by the tide on Middle Eye.
