18 year old dies after scrambler bike crash
An 18 year old has died after a crash between a car and a scrambler bike - which police believe to have been stolen.
Officers were called to Booker Avenue in Allerton at 8:40pm on Monday where they found two teenagers with serious injuries.
One young man has sadly passed away from his injuries, the second remains in hospital.
It's thought that the scrambler bike was travelling in tandem with a second scrambler bike along Booker Avenue when the crash happened.
The second bike stopped initially and then made off towards Mather Avenue.
Merseyside Police are appealing for witnesses.
Booker Avenue is closed whilst forensic examinations are carried out at the scene and motorists are advised to find alternative routes.
