Appeal over racial abuse of railway station staff in Manchester
Transport Police have issued an appeal after two workers were racially abused at Manchester's Victoria station.
They say a man, apparently heavily intoxicated, had been trying to purchase a ticket at the barrier line of the station.
He became racially abusive to a member of rail staff, using racial slurs multiple times.
Travel Safe officers began to escort the man out of the station, and he then became racially abusive to them too.
Officers have issued an image of a man they say may have information which could assist their investigation into the incident on 4th November, shortly before 11 PM.
