9 year old girl's sweet surprise for Lancashire's emergency service workers
A nine-year-old girl had a sweet surprise for emergency service workers in Lancashire.
Eva Davies spent the day giving out chocolates and thank you letters, leaving the treats in the window of police vans and ambulances:
In one note, the little girl thanked police for their "outstanding" work.
Chorley Police said the notes "made their day".
Preston North End Police also tweeted about their surprise, after two officers were stopped by Eva and her dad.
Posting on Twitter, Eva's father said he would pass on the officers' thanks.
