ITV Election Debate takes place in Salford

The leaders of the main political parties are gearing up for the ITV election debate in Salford. Representatives from seven parties will take to their podiums at Media City vying for votes ahead of the General election.

The 2 hour programme will be hosted by Julie Etchingham each representative will be given one minute for their opening statement and each closing statement will be 45 seconds.
