Baby orangutan boosts fight against extinction
Chester Zoo is welcoming a rare new arrival - a baby Sumatran orangutan.
He was delivered by mum Subis, a 32 year old, and fathered by Puluh, who's the same age.
Fewer than 14,000 of the animals remain in the wild and Chester is the only zoo in mainland Britain to care for them.
The apes have been pushed to the point of near extinction by the destruction of their natural habitat for illegal logging and the palm oil industry.
