Boris Johnson visits boxing gym in Wythenshawe ahead of ITV debate
Boris Johnson has been preparing for tonight's ITV leader's debate by visiting a boxing gym in Manchester.
He claimed that he "loves" the sport as he stepped into the ring with the head coach of Jimmy Egan's Boxing Academy in Wythenshawe.
He will be hoping to politically knock out Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn during a head-to-head debate on ITV later tonight.
Mr Johnson left the ring as two more serious boxers entered, saying he would "quit while he's ahead".
Meanwhile, Jeremy Corbyn has been preparing for the debate by visiting the barbers.
The first leader's debate of the campaign will be broadcast live from Salford at 8pm on ITV.
