Brit wins European Rally Championship for the first time since 1960s

A rally driver from Manchester has ended the long wait for a British winner of the European Rally Championship.

Chris Ingram, 24, has become the first British winner of the championship since the late 1960s.

He won the junior title two years ago and clinched the title at Rally Hungary last week, despite picking up a puncture in the final stage.

He came to speak to us in the studio this evening.
