Armistice Day: Royal British Legion urges 'put away your phones' for two minute silence
As thousands of people across the North West prepare to remember those who have lost their lives in conflict the Royal British Legion is asking us all to put away our phones to take part in a two minute silence.
Today marks the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day and the Legion is running it's 'Pause to Remember' campaign urging all generations to take a break from digital technology for two minutes on 11th November.
Remembrance Services were held across the region over the weekend and the Museum of Liverpool was lit up with a giant display of falling poppy petals.
