Man charged after Remembrance Sunday silence interrupted by firework
A man has been charged after a silent tribute during a Remembrance Sunday event was interrupted with a firework.
Police say the firework was thrown from a window on Church Street in Eccles yesterday.
38 year old Stuart Potts from Salford has been charged with a public order offence and for firing fireworks in to a public place.
He will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today.
