CCTV appeal after 'terrible' hammer and golf club attack in victim's home

A man has been attacked in his own home by two men armed with a hammer and golf club.

Police say the assault happened on the evening of 28 October in Kirkham.

The victim was threatened and then hit with both weapons, suffering injuries to his head, ribs and hands.

Both offenders fled the scene.

Detectives now say they would like to speak to these two men:

PC Darren Woodley said: "Do you recognise them? If you have any information at all that could help, please contact us as soon as possible.

"This was a terrible attack on a man in his own home and we need to find the people responsible."
