Margaret Atwood pays a visit to Salford sixth-formers
The world-famous author Margaret Atwood has visited Salford to speak to a group of sixth-form students.
Ms Atwood, whose works include the award-winning Handmaid's Tale, was recently named this year's joint Booker Prize winner.
Seats at her lecture in Pendleton Sixth Form College were in high demand, giving people the rare chance to ask the author questions about her work.
Pupils said the lecture was "really inspiring".
