How 'heroic' six year old helped mum and baby sister in medical emergency

A six-year-old boy managed to get his mother to hospital when he saw her "screaming in pain".

Young AJ Hassanpour-Woods came to his mum's aid and told her "everything would be ok" while rubbing her back after she fell ill in August.

AJ managed to contact his father, texting him "mum is sick" - all while calming his baby sister and giving her a bottle.

Laura Woods said "He didn't panic and he didn't cry once. He was really calm - I felt safe with him there."

She was treated in hospital for a kidney stone which had become stuck.

The proud mother has "told everyone" about how heroic AJ was - and is now urging others to chat with children about phone numbers they can call in an emergency.
