Victory for Zack as government pledge cash for toilets

A young man from Accrington who campaigned for disabled changing facilities at service stations has won his fight.

Zack Kerr has cerebral palsy and struggled to find anywhere which offered privacy and dignity.

The government's announced new funding for Changing Places facilities, which offer more space and equipment than standard toilets.

Funding of around £750,000 will go to providing the new facilities at 22 motorway services and there are plans for further cash to build more on other routes.
