Liverpool scientists given funding to help protect more than 200 million people from diseases

Scientists in Liverpool are working to protect more than 200 million people from diseases in Africa and Asia.

The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine is getting funding to help them carry out research on diseases that cause death and disability and can often leave entire communities in poverty.
