A plumber from Lancashire refuses to take money for his work from elderly or vulnerable customers.

James Anderson, from Burnley, fixes pipes and boilers for elderly and disabled people in need free of charge. So far he's helped hundreds. Now, equally kind-hearted members of the public are raising money to let him carry on.

It came to light when one act of goodwill was posted online. It was a bill issued to a 91 year old woman with leukemia. It was for zero pounds with the note that she should never be charged anything at all for any work in the future.
