New Zealand rider dies during Senior Classic TT Race
The Manx Motor Cycle Club has confirmed that 37-year-old, Chris Swallow, from New Zealand died during today's Senior Classic TT Race.
The incident took place at Ballaugh Bridge at 2:03pm during the opening lap of the Senior Race.
A red flag was shown and the riders were escorted back to the TT paddock before the race was restarted at 4:00pm.
Chris made his debut during the 2007 Manx Grand Prix and competed regularly in the Classic TT.
He finished fourth in last year's Senior Classic TT Race and achieved two runner-up places in the Classic Manx Grand Prix in 2012.
