Merseyside: Police uncover WWII gun in Fazakerley
Police in Merseyside have recovered a WWII gun in Fazakerley.
The discovery was made yesterday at around 5pm by officers conducting an open land search in the Falcon Hey area. The item, a suspected M3 sub machine gun, was found inside a bag.
It has been forensically recovered and the scene has now been stood down.
