Royal Marine Veteran to climb Mont Blanc with a rowing machine on his back

Royal Marine Veteran, Matthew Paul Disney (Disney RM), is attempting a world first on Friday August 30.

The fitness enthusiast and global adventurer from Lancashire, is aiming to carry a 26KG, 2.5M long unbalanced Concept2 rowing machine up Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the Alps and Western Europe.

It is all in aid of raising funds for Rock 2 Recovery and RMA - The Royal Marines Charity.

Earlier this summer, Disney successfully climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon and the distance in-between with the Concept2 Rowing Machine on his back.
