A flight with a difference will set off from Manchester airport to San Francisco later.
The Thomas Cook aircraft will have an all LGBT + crew and is emblazoned with a pride heart on the outside. It's one of five aircrafts painted with the symbol to represent five years of the company supporting Manchester Pride and 50 years since the Stonewall riots.
Today's celebration begin when a rainbow Metrolink tram arrives at the airport station carrying Thomas Cook crew, pilots, customers. At the gate, customers will be greeted with a colourful Pride party, a Gaydio DJ set, performances from House of Suarez and some other surprises.
It comes ahead of Manchester's Pride Festival kicks off on Friday.
