Today is two-hundred years since the Peterloo Massacre

It's exactly two- hundred years ago to the day, since 18 people died after troops turned on them while they demonstrated in Manchester for social reform.Hundreds of people were injured in one of the darkest episodes in history.

Denise Southworth's ancestor Mays Hays was killed in what's now known as the Peterloo Massacre.
