Urgent appeal to find missing Lancashire woman

Police in Lancashire have launched an urgent appeal for information to help find a missing woman from Huncoat.

47-year-old Lindsay Birbeck was last seen on CCTV in the Burnley Road area at around 4.10pm on Monday. She was walking in the direction of Accrington.

She is described as white, 5ft 11in tall, of slim build with shoulder-length dark hair. The CCTV footage shows her wearing a purple bubble jacket, black leggings and dark coloured trainers with a white sole. Her hair was down.

Lindsay has links to Accrington and Burnley, as well as Kendal in Cumbria.

Anyone who knows here whereabouts is asked to contact police.
