Residents in Whaley Bridge told measures in place for expected heavy rainfall
Police say measures are in place as residents in Whaley Bridge brace themselves for heavy rainfall expected this weekend.
An amber warning is in place days after they returned home after the town was evacuated because of its damaged dam. There is the possibility of localised flooding.
Police say water levels in the reservoir are being closely monitored and if there is any concern residents in the evacuation zone will be the first to know.
