Uzi sub-machine gun and AK47 among weapons handed in during firearm surrender
An Uzi sub-machine gun, an AK47 and a machine gun from World War Two are among the weapons that have been safely taken into police custody during a firearms surrender in Greater Manchester.
The two week campaign saw 140 firearms handed in during the amnesty.
It's a chance for people to hand in unlawfully held or unwanted guns and ammunition to stop them getting into the wrong hands.
Illegal possession of a firearm can result in a sentence of up to five years in prison.
