Man dies after being hit by tram in West Didsbury

A man has died after being hit by a tram in south Manchester.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Burton Road Metrolink stop in West Didsbury.

A spokesman for GMP confirmed that a man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene - and there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances."
