A man from Denton is one of 21 sheddies from across the UK to be shortlisted for the Shed of the Year competition.

The competition is a celebration of the great British shed in all its forms, from the miniature to the massive, the modern to the traditional, the cosy to the minimal and everything in between.

Andrius Simaska made the shortlist with his Allotment Recycled Pallet Eco Shed which is made entirely out of old pallets.

Head judge and founder of the competition, Andrew Wilcox, said:

Public voting is now underway and will close on Tuesday 29 August 2019.

The final 21 sheds can be seen here.
