Laurence Bassini begs football bosses 'let me save Bolton Wanderers'
A businessman has warned that Bolton Wanderers will go into liquidation within days - if he's not allowed to buy the club.
Bolton have been in administration since May and will start the League One season with a 12-point deduction.
An offer by Laurence Bassini has already been rejected by administrators, who have named Football Ventures as preferred bidder.
The EFL say they turned down his takeover bid because he failed to supply sufficient documentation.
Meanwhile, Bolton players [have cancelled a number of friendlies](http://Bolton pull out of Preston North End friendly) because of strike action over unpaid wages.
