Isle of Man ranked 'best place to live in the British Isles' according to expats
The Isle of Man has been ranked the best place to live in the British Isles, according to the HSBC Expat Survey.
The Island was also ranked the 12th best place in the world.
Almost three quarters of respondents said their quality of life had improved since moving to the Island.
92% of people said they felt safer on the Island compared to where they used to live.
The Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey were new entries in this year's league table.
Jersey and Guernsey came in at 19th and 25th.
The HSBC Expat Survey is the longest running independent global survey of expats.
An 'expat' is someone living somewhere that is different to where they were born.
Criteria includes economic stability, wellbeing and family benefits such as finance, education, healthcare and quality of life to provide insights on how countries compare across the globe.
