Student taking on epic charity challenge - just 15 months after major brain surgery
A Chester student who had major brain surgery just 15 months ago is now preparing to take on an epic fitness challenge.
Connor Weaver was treated at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust in April 2018, after doctors found a 4cm tumour in his head.
The fitness enthusiast had hopes of becoming a Team GB rower - while those plans have had to be put on hold, he is far from standing still.
Within two weeks of surgery, he was back to training.
Connor and a friend are now cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats for the Liverpool hospital's charity.
