Anthony Grainger's partner calls for urgent changes

The partner of the man who was shot dead by Greater Manchester Police during a botched firearms operation says she hopes the force will implement recommendations in a damning report.

An inquiry's made nine recommendations for change to improve public safety during firearms operations.

Chief Constable, Ian Hopkins, has apologised for the failings of his officers which resulted in the death of Anthony Grainger in 2012.

He was shot by a police marksman as he sat in a parked car in Cheshire.
