Steven Gerrard has reached out to a young LFC fan after his father died.

Robbie Fleming passed away in Lisburn at the age of 26 - he was a huge supporter of Liverpool Football Club, and dreamed of meeting Steven Gerrard with his son Jack.

This is the moment the 9 year old took a phone call from the former midfielder - which included an invite to Liverpool:

Jack's grandmother Alison took the call at first, and said the heartwarming gesture was very emotional.

"I was shaking and crying, my son’s photo was right in front of me when I answered the phone and he said, 'Hello it's Steven Gerrard here'."

Mr Gerrard, who now manages the Scottish Premier League club Rangers, passed on his condolences and said how sorry he was not to have met Robbie.

Steven Gerrard then arranged the FaceTime with Jack.
