Hadeer, who is in her 20s from Rusholme, was reported missing alongside her daughter on 2nd July 2019, but police have now confirmed they have located Hadeer's daughter who is safe and well.
On Saturday 6 July 2019, two men, aged 40 and 43, were arrested on suspicion of Hadeer’s murder and remain in custody for questioning.
Detective Chief Inspector Liz Hopkinson of GMP’s Major Incident Team, said: “I appreciate that this is an unusual investigation but I can assure you that since we launched our investigation, we’ve been pursuing every single line of enquiry to help us find out what has happened to Hadeer.
“This is a tragic case where a young mother has disappeared, something no child should ever have to go through. We are working closely with our partners to ensure that we gather as much information as possible and that we get answers for her daughter.”
