Premier Inn brings 'multi-million-pound investment' to the Isle of Man

Premier Inn has created 35 new jobs on the Isle of Man with the opening of a new hotel in Douglas.

The official opening of the hotel on Market Street took place after 17 months of construction.

It boasts 85 bedrooms with a restaurant, all developed by Manx-based property developer, Dandara.

Today saw the official opening of the hotel with Isle of Man ministers and VIPs attending the launch.

Managing Director of Premier Inn, Simon Ewins opened with a speech, followed by Minister for Enterprise, Laurence Skelly MHK.

Premier Inn has over 800 hotels and over 76,000 across the UK and Ireland.
