A hard hitting play in memory of Dylan who drowned swimming in a local quarry

A hard hitting play based on the death of a teenager from Lancashire is being used to warn youngsters about the dangers of swimming unaided in open water and reservoirs.

United Utilities have been working with Dylan Ramsay's family to show how even the strongest swimmers can drown as a result of cold water shock.

It's called "60 Seconds of Summer" and its creator says this is the hardest piece he's ever had to write after 20 years in the theatre.

The play has been performed in Dylan's old school in Parkland's Academy in Chorley for the very first time.
