Murder investigation launched in Barrow in Furness

A man in his 20s been arrested on suspicion of murder following death of a man in his 70s in Barrow.

Paramedics found a body at an address in the town last night and alerted police.

He'd suffered serious injuries to his throat and chest.

Officers remain at the scene and detectives are asking that anyone with knowledge or information about this incident who has not yet come forward does so.
